Visit the King Penguins at Volunteer Point

The 4x4 off road driving to the site is already an experience but wait till you get there and see all these majestic king penguins with vivid and colourful necks, they love to pose for photos and are great in numbers, the location is also very beautiful.

North Camp Roads

I call it the circuit, this is an all day drive to the West of East Falklands passing through San Carlos, Port San Carlos, Teal Inlet and Estancia.  Stop over for photos and admire the peaceful and spectacular views.

The Lighthouse

I always take friends to the lighthouse to the East of Stanley, great for an afternoon walk or a picnic, sometimes you can see seals, sealions but always plety of birdlife.

Gypsy Cove

​Located just a short drive or walking from Stanley following the coastline, you will see Magellanic penguins and several species of shorebird in their natural habitat and enjoy spectacular views of Stanley and surrounding mountains.

Darwin Cemetery, San Carlos Cemetery and Battlefields

​A reminder of what the Falklands went through back in 1982 when it was invaded by Argentinean forces, these are places where you can pay your respects for the fallen and rememberance.

Darwin Lodge, Goose Green

Two of my favourites camp settlements, if you want to see what life used to be in camp in the old days then this is the best example as Goose Green was the second biggest settletment after Stanley.  Still a working farm but much smaller in residents.  Darwin Lodge is the perfect stop for smoko, a nice lunch or if you prefer a weekend stay.

One of the Falklands traditions, a whole weekend gathering with friends, dancing, drinking, playing games and just relaxing.

The Museum

​My favourite attraction in Stanley, small in size but very rich in history.  Unique displays showcase the Falklands lifestyle, traditions and historical events, the site itself is an attraction located at the Historic Dockyard, the first official settlement in the Falklands.  You can also enjoy coffee and pastries at the Teaberry Café.

Sea Lion Island, Carcass Island, Bleaker Island, Saunders Island, New Island, Pebble Island

These are top destinations in the Falklands, the perfect places to admire the Falklands wildlife at its best, where nature is still in charge.
